Dobinsons 2.2″ Hydraulic Bump Stops give your suspension a controlled, tunable final stage of compression travel. Instead of relying on a simple rubber bump stop to absorb a hard hit, these hydraulic bumps use oil displacement and nitrogen pressure to progressively slow suspension movement before it reaches full bottom-out.

The result is better control during harsh compression events, reduced shock loads through the suspension and chassis, and a smoother, more composed feel when driving aggressively off-road. Whether you are hitting rough desert terrain, dropping into ledges, cycling long travel IFS, or building a heavier overland rig, hydraulic bump stops help protect critical components when suspension travel runs out.

Each Dobinsons bump stop features a compact threaded body, 50mm CNC-machined billet aluminum piston, 30mm micro-polished hard chrome shaft, heavy-duty triple seal design, and nitrogen pressure adjustability from 100–300 PSI. They are also fully rebuildable and tunable, making them a serious long-term suspension upgrade.

Dobinsons includes both quiet rubber and hard nylon rod end options, allowing you to tailor the final contact feel to your application. A removable dust boot helps protect the shaft from debris, while the O-ring travel indicator makes it easy to confirm how much bump travel your suspension is actually using.

These are universal hydraulic bump stops and require custom mounting, but they are an excellent upgrade for long travel IFS systems, solid axle builds, prerunners, rock crawlers, and vehicles that regularly see hard suspension compression. They also pair very well with RCLT HD installations where controlled suspension travel and component protection are a priority.

Dobinsons Spring & Suspension™ will, at their discretion, repair or replace products found to be defective in materials or workmanship when notified in writing within the applicable warranty period.
