Marlin Crawler was founded on a simple philosophy: build Toyota and Lexus vehicles the right way, with uncompromising attention to strength, reliability, details, and long-term durability. Internally, this has come to be known as “The Marlin Way”.
Company founder Marlin began his career as a professional certified mechanic with extensive experience spanning domestic and import vehicles, heavy drivetrain rebuilding, industrial equipment, and advanced mechanical systems. Yet despite that broad background, he was continually drawn to the simplicity, engineering, and dependability of Toyota trucks.
After purchasing his first Toyota 4WD pickup in 1983, Marlin devoted himself to understanding and improving Toyota drivetrains and off-road performance while preserving the qualities that made these vehicles legendary in the first place. That “Toyota Way” mindset and principles became the foundation of Marlin Crawler.
Today, that same philosophy continues to guide everything we do, from drivetrain rebuilding and vehicle servicing to race-proven suspension systems and complete off-road vehicle builds.
