We only use genuine Japanese manufactured Toyota spindle axle bushings that are machined to close tolerance to ensure lasting performance without seizing or locking-up on your birfield. These are especially important to replace if you’ve had multiple birfield or axle failures which have a tendency to carve deep grooves into the soft brass bushing. Once the bushing is sufficiently worn, the axle may drift off center and cause additional binding stress which leads to more rapid axle failure. So if you’ve been encountering a lot of axle failures, you might want to consider replacing your spindle bushings! These fit fine-spline Toyota birfields, which are found in factory disc brake equipped 9/1975-6/1991 FJ40/45/55/60/62 Land Cruiser as well as 9/1979-9/1985 Hilux Pickup and 4Runner Toyota front live axles.
