High Pliant Boot Set for RCV Chromoly IFS Axles

These are RCV’s new flexible and durable boots everyone has been waiting for!

Relief is finally here to the never ending BTSD (boot traumatic stress syndrome). After waiting over two years for RCV to address their paper-thin boot issues, they went back to the drawing board and have come up with these much more flexible, durable, and best of all longer lasting outer CV boots.

Major kudos to RCLT HD customer Chris Rosa for working with RCV in developing and testing these new boots!

Because RCLT HD has more articulation performance than other kits on the market, this is GREAT news for our customers who have found the former “High Temp” boots just didn’t cut it.

Replacement boot set designed to fit the Toyota RCLT HD high clearance suspension. The RCV high pliant boot set only fits RCV CV joints. Includes: (2) RCV Toyota RCLT high pliant boots (4) CV Boot Straps, (2) snap rings.

Due to the limited space from suspension components, the D12211 CV boot was designed for high clearance in Toyota applications to make room for aftermarket shocks. Because of this unique design, additional strain can be seen on the first few cv boot bellows. Proper installation of this boot for optimal performance requires the boot to be compressed before clamping to the axle shaft. This measurement must be 4.4″ from edge to edge.

Note: Banding Tool required to tighten bands. Alternatively, you may use worm-drive hose clamps with a smooth band design to prevent cutting the boot. Useful for a reusable, adjustable, and easy to re-tighten solution. Large band: 4-4.5″, Small band: 1.25-2″ clamp sizes. For RCLT HD installs, clearance is tight for the large band so a worm-drive clamp may not be used and the RCV large band must be used regardless.
