This is our custom stainless steel high-angle misalignment spacer designed specifically for FK Rod End’s 1″ ID spherical uniballs used in RCLT HD suspension systems, proudly Made in the USA.
Featuring a carefully engineered radiused profile, these spacers are optimized to maximize steering angle and uniball articulation while maintaining the strength and reliability required for demanding off-road use. When used with our RCLT HD knuckles, this design achieves an impressive 32° of steering angle while maximizing the strength and packaging advantages of horizontal uniball geometry. See our Steering Angle & Steering Stops FAQ for additional technical details.
Specifications:
- Designed for 1″ ID uniballs
- 9/16″ through-bolt bore
- 3-1/16″ total stack height (3.0625" assembled with uniball)
- Precision CNC-machined stainless steel construction
These spacers are used at the upper double-shear uniball connection of RCLT HD suspension systems utilizing 9/16″ hardware, which is torqued to 139 lb-ft with lubricated fasteners. See page 50 of the RCLT HD Instructions for complete torque specifications.
Sold individually.
Four included with RCLT HD kits.
Fitment Note: Due to the hand-fabricated and welded nature of RCLT HD suspension components, slight variations in double-shear mounting width may exist between different production generations and individual kits. Over time, powder coat wear and the extremely high clamp loads generated by the suspension hardware can also slightly reduce mounting width as the fabricated steel tabs conform under torque.
As a result, replacement misalignment spacers may occasionally require minor fitting or polishing during installation, particularly on older RCLT HD kits produced using previous paint coating and fixture processes. This is normal for fabricated high-performance off-road suspension systems and does not indicate a problem with the spacers themselves.
If additional clearance is needed, the stainless steel spacers may safely be lightly sanded, polished, or machined as necessary to achieve proper fitment. Due to the small amount of material involved and the generous shoulder design of the spacers, removing a few thousandths of an inch will not negatively affect strength, safety, corrosion resistance, or the ability to properly align the vehicle.
