This Inner Tie Rod, or ITR, is an OEM replacement for the 200-series Land Cruiser/Lexus Steering Rack Assembly. Use as a replacement for your high mileage Land Cruiser or Lexus LX570. We also stock these as standard wear items for RCLT HD owners. This is a Genuine Toyota replacement part. Comes pre-greased from Toyota and packaged in a sealed bag (expect much of the ball joint end to be partially covered in OEM grease). M22x1.50 factory male thread.
Note for RCLT HD Owners: Our patented MarRack steering geometry reduces load on every steering component and rack-to-frame connection by 15%. Combined with the larger and stronger RCLT HD steering parts, we have yet to see these OEM Toyota Inner Tie Rods fail on an RCLT HD-equipped vehicle—including use at nearly a dozen King of the Hammers and Ultra4 race seasons.
In real-world use, BigMike’s 2016 Tacoma has logged over 70,000 miles (daily driving + off-road on 40″ tires) with zero steering failures or issues. Across our customer base, RCLT HD trucks have accumulated well over 100,000 miles on 40s without a single inner tie rod failure.
For these reasons, we recommend only factory-style OEM Toyota Inner Tie Rods rather than aftermarket clevis designs. They offer proven reliability, correct fitment, and seamless compatibility with factory rack boots.
