Made in the USA from USA Steel, these locker guards will take many years of abuse while protecting your precious equipment.
Applications include FJ80 High Pinion E-Lockers and Tacoma/4Runner/FJ Cruiser rear axle E-Lockers. Note: These guards do not fit 2012+ FJ Cruiser rear locker motors.
Install note: The factory stud is longer than necessary and our guard takes up most of this extra length. As such, when you reinstall the lower nut and washer, the stud will be flush with the nut. If the stud is too short, it’s possible the stud has been over-tightened into your axle housing and may need to be slightly unthreaded prior to torquing the nut over our Locker Motor Guard. We have also seen on some applications (such as the 2nd Generation Tacoma) that the factory-installed studs are too short to use with the guard and require the earlier style (longer) 112mm studs to have enough thread engagement for the motor/guard.
