Toyota makes different mounts for 4cyl and V6 applications. When you upgrade your V6 to a Gear Drive T/Case, you will need a Gear Drive T/Case cross member Mount. This is the 6-cylinder style Genuine Toyota cross member mount that is extra wide for more strength and fits all 1979-95 Gear Drive Transfer cases and the 1982-95 4-cylinder cross member mount pattern.
Toyota made a few different style mounts and this is the widest version providing the most amount of rubber for increased vibration dampening and strength. Fully compatible with all 1979-95 gear drive transfer cases.
Also, because this style t-case is the backbone to the Marlin Crawler Dual Case, this mount will fit any Marlin Crawler Dual Case Setup including also the TacoBox for 1995 and newer modern automatic and manual transmission applications with the use of a t-case mount extension (shown in additional photos as a simple plate welded to the rear of the stock Tacoma/4Runner/T100/Tundra/Sequoia/FJ Cruiser/Lexus GX470 transmission crossmember) or custom crossmember with 1982-95 4-cylinder cross member mount pattern.
