We are excited to offer our new High Output ARB Air Compressor Mount Kit for 3.4L V6 1995-2004 Tacoma & 1996-2002 4Runner!
This is a very simple, high-strength, vibration-resistant 4-bolt mount bracket designed to last a lifetime. For those without a passenger-side Cruise Control Actuator, including drive-by-wire applications, this is a direct bolt-in bracket kit designed to fit the ARB CKMA12 High Output Air Compressor (sold separately) just behind your stock air box. For those with a passenger-side Cruise Control Actuator, we offer two different Relocation Kits (listed below) to make room for this awesome Compressor Bracket Kit!
Features:
- Direct bolt-on: No drilling or other modifications required
- Robust USA-made Laser cut & Formed 11-gauge steel
- Clear Zinc Plated for corrosion resistance and long-life
- Optional Carling switch mount, such as the ARB Compressor Switch, to manually activate Compressor on-demand
- JIS Metric Hardware to mount Compressor to Bracket and Bracket to Engine Bay
- Slotted holes and Rotation of Compressor for endless positioning and orientation
- Compressor may be mounted in either direction, front-to-rear or rear-to-front
- Very sturdy bracket that does not vibrate when compressor is operating
- Compatible for vehicles with or without Anti-lock Brake System (ABS)
Benefits of engine bay mounting:
- Much quieter than mounted inside
- Doesn’t take up cubby or other interior space
- Shorter and more simple wiring to battery
- Can Tee into engine intake using 3/8″ hose and barbed fittings
- Even more quiet operation
- Use main engine filter to prevent dust entering compressor
- Reduced risk of damage from water crossings
