Built by the Originators. Trusted on the Trail.
We’ve been building and installing Rock Sliders since the early days of rock crawling, long before they were standard equipment. (Back then we called them “Nerf Bars”!) We are the very first Rock Crawling company to build & install Rock Sliders. With over 30 years of real-world experience, these aren’t just parts we sell, they’re protection we rely on every day.
Why Rock Sliders Matter
When your front tire climbs an obstacle, the body often comes down onto the rock before the rear tire follows. Without proper protection, that contact happens directly against your rocker panels and cab.
Rock Sliders are designed to take that hit, allowing your vehicle to slide across the obstacle while protecting the body from costly damage.
Weld-On Strength. Built for Real Use.
We chose a weld-on design for one simple reason: maximum strength with less weight.
Unlike bolt-on sliders that rely on multiple brackets and fasteners, a weld-on slider becomes part of the frame itself. This eliminates flex, reduces weight, and removes exposed hardware that can get caught or sheared off on the trail.
Bolt-on designs certainly have their place: they’re quick to install and require no fabrication. But for those who demand the strongest, cleanest solution, weld-on remains the gold standard.

Built to Take the Hit So Your Body Doesn’t
When you’re out on the trail, body damage isn’t just cosmetic, it’s permanent. These sliders are built so you can focus on the obstacle ahead, not what’s underneath you.
| Feature | Weld-On Sliders (Marlin Crawler) | Bolt-On Sliders |
|---|---|---|
| Strength | Directly welded to frame for maximum rigidity | Dependent on brackets and hardware |
| Flex Under Load | Minimal | Moderate to high |
| Ground Clearance | High (no drop brackets) | Reduced (brackets hang below frame) |
| Hardware Exposure | None | Bolt heads exposed to impact |
| Weight | Lighter (no heavy brackets) | Heavier due to mounting structure |
| Installation | Requires welding | Simple bolt-on install |
| Removability | Permanent installation | Easily removable |
| Long-Term Durability | Excellent | Hardware and brackets can wear or loosen, requires retightening and replacements over time |
| Best For | Maximum strength, serious off-road use | Quick install, no fabrication required |
We build our Rock Sliders for real trail use: Where strength, clearance, and reliability matter most.
For customers who want maximum protection with the cleanest possible design, weld-on sliders remain the strongest and most proven solution and is why we have used this design for decades.
