Since the 1980s Marlin faced a problem every stick‑shift Toyota wheeler knew too well: soft factory clutches don’t survive low‑RPM off-roading on big aired‑down tires.
His solution was radical for the day: hand‑select the best pressure plate, the best sprung hub, and the best disc friction material from different OEM suppliers, then combine them into a single “hybrid” kit. The result set a new standard for grip, longevity and pedal feel.
That original formula hasn’t been available for years… until now. We’ve sorted through a small supply of brand‑new clutch components in our warehouse and re‑created Marlin’s legendary kit in a strictly limited batch. When these are gone, they’re gone for good.
