Your truck has hundreds of clips including these two important clips that hold the clutch fork to the clutch release collar. Without these clips your clutch will not operate correctly due to massive & excessive release bearing wear (as it would be unable to be extracted from the clutch cover) and it would likely spin uncontrollably on your transmission nose cone destroying that as well! Such a simple component yet we all need to use them. When you misplace your clips, or break a couple, grab these so we can help you get your rig back on the road!
One pair is required for all 4cyl 1981-1988 Pickup's and 4cyl 1984-1989 4Runner's. 1986-87 Turbo applications use an integrated collar+clip that is no longer offered by Toyota. These clips are compatible with Turbo applications so long as you also replace the now extinct Turbo collar with a non-Turbo version offered here.
