The Marlin Crawler 4.70:1 XD gear kit will replace your truck’s stock 2.28:1 low range ratio with our 4.70:1 ratio, giving you a 106% lower final drive ratio for manual applications, or when combined with a torque converter, an equivalent low range ratio of 9.4 to 11.75:1 based on ATF temperature for automatic applications. For a typical application with stock 4.11:1 ring and pinions, our low range gear set will take the stock 37:1 final drive to a new 76:1 final drive providing 2.1 times more control, 2.1 times more torque, 2.1 times less bouncing, and 2.1 times less drivetrain load.

Your truck will become easier to control, have a much greater ability to maintain traction, and will save critical components such as your clutch (if manual transmission) and your brakes (if automatic transmission). Additionally, your torque output will increase by more than double, which means you won’t have to rev your engine to get power. You’ll be able to go slower, control your vehicle, prevent bouncing and jerking, which will result in a safer trail ride with less risk of breaking parts.

• Japanese-made OEM Input and Countershaft bearings, preinstalled
  • Note: You must transfer all four of your original front snap rings during installation
