Marlin’s Celebration Of Life
On March 9, 2023, our beloved Marlin Czajkowski, inventor of Rock Crawling and founder of Marlin Crawler, Inc., passed away peacefully in his sleep while on a cruise with his wife and friends. (More details.)
On Saturday, June 1st, we will be gathering in Central California to Celebrate in Marlin’s incredible life! (See details for Marlin on our About Us page.) We are encouraging everyone to bring their off-roader and join us in remembering one of the most amazing individuals of our generation!

Additional notes/info:
This will be a dry event/no alcohol allowed on site. Marlin and his family do not drink and we thank you for your understanding. There are plenty of bars across the street in Old Town Clovis.
We will have complementary bottled water on hand but please bring your own waters/sodas/sports drinks just in case we run out. We should have a sufficient number of chairs, but consider bringing a couple camp chairs in case it gets crowded. There is also a nice grassy area to hang out on behind the Main Hall, and camp chairs will be nice to have out at the Truck Show near your rig.
We will not be serving any food as there are many local restaurants and cafes right across the street in Old Town Clovis which we encourage everyone to enjoy after the event (see list at bottom of page).
Typical temperature for June 1st is expected to be in the high 90s so bring sun block & hats, and we hope everyone has a fun time!

This event will be a gathering of Marlin’s family, friends, loyal customers, and fans who have been touched by his legacy. It will be a few hours filled with memories, stories, and the camaraderie that Marlin so deeply valued. In honor of Marlin, we expect a magnificent display of off-road rigs brought by enthusiasts who wish to pay their respects to the person who founded the Rock Crawling industry as a send-off impromptu truck show for which there will be plenty of parking for.
Clovis Rodeo Grounds provides an ideal setting for this event. Centrally located in California and only 3 miles north of Fresno Yosemite International airport, nearby you’ll find the historic Old Town Clovis, which offers a wide range of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, hotels, antique stores and activities. This is especially convenient for those traveling from out of town, including international visitors who want to join us in celebrating Marlin’s life.
