Introducing our Heavy Duty Lower Control Arm (LCA) Frame Brace Kit, the Ultimate Gusset Setup for all off-roaders! This unique and feature-filled kit goes far beyond cam tabs, taking IFS Type-4 gusseting to a whole new level. Beef up your 2010-2024 4Runner, 2010-2014 FJ Cruiser & 2010-2023 Lexus GX40.

The Marlin Crawler HD LCA Frame Brace Kit offers exceptional strength and protection. Crafted from USA-made 1/4″ thick flange & cam tab uprights, the outer walls of all 8 LCA mount flanges are reinforced with quarter-inch plates, quadrupling their thickness, and all 16 factory cam tabs are fully encompassed, providing unmatched strength. This combination prevents deformation and bending of cam tabs, even under severe impacts or bottoming out while jumping.

Our kit further enhances strength by adding plates beneath each LCA mount, converting each flange pair into a strong double-shear design. It also bridges gaps between flanges, protecting against damage from rocks and impacts. An angled front lower brace deflects objects, while the added material recesses and safeguards cam tabs and alignment hardware from impacts.

Stable alignment is crucial for on- & off-road driving performance, and our kit delivers. It has been tested with up to size 40″ tires on various rigs, including manuals, automatics, and Dual + Triple transfer case setups of all compatible types and models. Factory alignment hardware remains secure, ensuring precise alignment even in extreme conditions, as proven in Ultra4 & King of the Hammers (KOH) rock racing events.

To install, simply place each Heavy Duty Upright against each LCA flange and weld in place. No drilling or cutting spot-welds required. Installation may be performed without removing any hardware or control arms, eliminating the need for suspension re-alignment. If you already have aftermarket 1/4″ gussets installed, our kit can be installed over them with simple grinding adjustment as shown on the installation page. Our kit is also compatible with both factory and aftermarket suspension arms, allowing for unrestricted range of motion.
