We are now carrying Toyota's Inner Tie Rod (ITR) Special Service Tool (SST) to service your MarRack or other Toyota rack and pinion style steering racks!
This SST is used to remove or install the Heavy Duty Inner Tie Rods (ITR) found on Heavy Duty IFS MarRack Steering Racks, or other Toyota rack and pinion style steering racks including 100- & 200-series Land Cruiser, Tacoma (all), T100 (all), Tundra (all), and 1996+ SUVs (4Runner, GX470/460, FJ Cruiser).
As covered on RCLT HD Install Guide | Page 11, there are alternative methods to remove or install MarRack ITRs, but this genuine Toyota tool is specifically designed for inner tie rods and features a 10mm hex head to first tighten the clamp to prevent slipping, scratching, rounding, or otherwise damaging the ITR body, and then a 1/2" square drive torque wrench, ratchet, or breaker bar is used to apply torque to the ITR.
Using this SST, install your MarRack ITR by torquing it to 81 lb-ft. Genuine Toyota variable open wrench, SKU 09922-10010, made by OTC Tools in Michigan.
