Heavy Duty Semi-Metallic Clutch Kits
Our Heavy Duty Clutch Kits are a huge step above stock
clutches, and unlike other aftermarket clutches, are designed for the Rock Crawler.
Throughout the 80s and 90s, Marlin had used LuK and BorgWarner Clutches with much
displeasure. Both kits seemed to loose their "new clutch" feel, and seemed to wear out sooner than stock.
Marlin wanted a clutch kit that grabbed better and lasted longer, but without wearing
out his legs over a long weekend trail.
What he did was gather multiple kits from
various manufactures and combined components to build the best clutch kit available. Today we
no longer have to combine kits as we now have them assembled from the manufacture
exactly to Marlin's specifications. The end result is a clutch that offers excellent
longevity, smooth pedal pressure for those long days on the trail, and a high torque
rating for a sure engagement every time. |

The Super Heavy Duty kit features a 1600
ft-lb pressure plate for maximum gripping power, while the Heavy Duty kit features
a 1200 ft-lb pressure plate, much better compared to the OEM 900 ft-lb plate.
These kits come complete with a heavy-duty clutch disk, heavy-duty pressure
plate, release bearing, pilot bearing, and a plastic clutch alignment tool. |

Ceramic Performance Clutch Kits
We have the leading edge in clutch technology
now in stock for your Toyota 4cyl Pickup or
4Runner. This revolutionary clutch material
has a superior coefficient of friction (very high) and has a high tolerance
to heat and thus fade. When organic clutches heat up they
quickly loose the ability to absorb heat. At that time, the fabric on the clutch
begins to be polished and its frictional coefficient is reduced. Ceramic clutches
have a higher heat tolerance and actually increase friction as they warm up.
Ceramic clutches last longer and will outlive organic clutches.
Since these disks are "pucked", they have a lower mass
and have the potential to spin at much faster
RPMs with out disintegrating. Solid nonfibrous construction, our ceramic clutch
kits include the ceramic disc, your choice of pressure plate (1200lb
or 1600lb), release bearing, pilot
bearing and alignment tool. |

Heavy Duty Pressure Plate Bolt Kit

Line-up: Heavy Duty Pressure Plate Bolt Kit.
For more than 7
years we have been selling our Heavy Duty Clutch Kits designed by
Marlin himself. We decided that since we are the first to bring
speciality Toyota Rock Crawling Clutches to the market, why not also
be the first to offer a Special Rock Crawling Heavy Duty Pressure Plate Bolt Kit?
This kit replaces your stock Grade-5 bolts with stronger Grade-8.8 bolts.
These Grade-8.8 bolts are rated at 91-ksi shear strength which is
almost 25% stronger than the factory Grade-5 bolts (75-ksi). Our
Heavy Duty Bolt Kit will enable your pressure plate to withstand
forces up to 25% greater than stock!

We recommend placing a touch of oil on the threads and torque the
bolts to 20 ft-lbs during installation.

Resurfaced Flywheels, Since 1992
When changing your clutch it's a good time
to check the condition of your flywheel. Broken
bolts? Damaged starter teeth? Deep heat cracks?
No problem we have the solution. We stock resurfaced
flywheels for your 1979-1995 4cyl or 1988-1995 V6 Toyota Pickup
or 4Runner. Each flywheel has a Special 0.026" step for
better clutch feel and prolonged operation. No core charge.
